Angela Owen
Angela Owen hails from East Texas, where at an early age she discovered a love for being the center of attention. On stage Angela delivers endless opinionated, fearless sass and irreverent reflection wrapped in a joyful package!
She’s opened for Karen Mills, Karen Morgan, Rich Vos, Mitch Fatel and Kevin Farley. Angela produces and performs with Deep Fried Comedy at The State Fair of Texas…she performs at The Addison Improv, Four Day Weekend East, TK’s, Dallas Comedy Club, Mic Drop Comedy, The Comedy Arena, Rose City Comedy and The Shakespeare Club in London, UK. As well as Funniest Comic in Texas, World Series of Comedy, The Plano Comedy Festival, The Art of Female Comedy Festival Wichita, KS, The Tower City Festival Paris, TX.

Dez O’Neal
Dez O’Neal was dubbed the “Funniest Comic in Texas” out of 500 contestants! He also was a Top 3 Finalist in the 2020 San Diego comedy festival and was just the winner of the 2021 Fort Wayne World Series of comedy. Dez O’Neal also known as the DOC, the funny doctor living the mantra that laughter works just as good as medicine, is a (Dallas) DFW Stand-Up Comedian introduced to the arts via acting/theatre. Three years ago, he took his naturally humorous personality and his theatre training to the stage as a Stand-Up Comedian, and has built and building a supportive following based off his comedic prowess.
Dominating the local scene, and currently working as a traveling comedian, Dez O’Neal is definitely one to keep your eye on. With his classic approach to comedy, one sit in on one of this comic’s jokes you’ll find yourself taking in a deep breath of fresh air. Scott Crisp
Scott Crisp is a writer and comedian from Dallas, Texas. A two-time semi-finalist in the Funniest Comic in Texas competition, he has worked with Joel McHale, Annie Lederman, Jenny Zigrino, Jim Norton and Baron Vaughn among others and is a co-host of the Oddball History Podcast.
Ruth Banks
Born and raised in Dallas, Ruth Banks is a standup comedian who stands out. Equipped with a spine of steel (literally…there’s 20 screws in there!), she brings an unstoppable combination of sharp wit and unique life experience that makes her set one of a kind.
Her debut comedy album “Screwed” was released in December of 2022 and her comedy special “Braced” was recorded in a back brace after spinal surgery in 2024. She’s been doing comedy for 8 years in the DFW area, is an audience favorite, and brings an unmatched energy to the stage every time.
